If you don’t know about the strawberries from the little stand on South Silverado Trail, get there. The strawberries are outstanding and several notable restaurants and bars make delicious use of them at their peak season. One of Napa’s finest, Bistro Don Giovanni, has done just that with the locally grown Silverado Strawberry Agua Fresca. The strawberries ooze sweet Summer juice, transporting you to a lounge chair by the sea. Perking up your palate, the fresh fruit, lime juice, and sparkling water mingle over ice. Add Vodka for $6 extra bucks for a nice easy buzz. The food is damn good too.

Also, Angele’s chef makes an unbelievably delicious Strawberry Tart. The gorgeous flavor, texture, and balance of this dessert are forever tattooed on my palate.
